Bellaby Aquariums Terms and Conditions

Bellaby Aquariums reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for whatever reason we may deem necessary. Such refused or cancelled orders will be refunded if paid already, but only after such payments cleared in our bank account.


Only the payment options offered on our website will be accepted and we reserve the right to refuse any form of payment at any given time. (We will not accept any cash deposits into our account).


No livestock or plant returns will be accepted. Factory faulted products that are returned at your own cost within 7 days, will be refunded or replaced at our own discretion.
Products under guarantee have to be returned to the manufacturer for warranty or guarantee claims. We will assist to the best of our ability in respect of contact details, etc.
All return courier costs will be for your own account.


Livestock and live plants will only be shipped from Monday – Wednesday. Other products can be shipped Monday – Friday.
Shipping costs as indicated on checkout is usually correct, but for certain items there may be extra shipping charged. You will be notified by email should this be the case. All livestock and Plant order will also include R25 extra for a polystyrene container.

Take note that Couriers only deliver on weekdays (Monday – Friday)
Local Pickup in Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area is free.

Alive Arrival Guarantee (only the first 24 hours). We are using Overnight Shipping for all livestock and plants. The 24 hour period starts when the courier collects the parcel at our shop.

We only ship within 24 hours after payment is reflected in our account.
To claim your Alive Arrival Guarantee, you must take a clear photo of the dead livestock in the original bag within 1 hour of picking it up from the courier and it must be within 24 hours from the time the courier picks up the livestock. We have the right to decline any Alive Arrival Guarantee.

We make sure that the plants leave our shop in the best possible condition and packaged to the best of our ability. Should there be any delays or mishandling by the courier, such claims will have to be submitted to the courier. We will assist wherever possible.
